Dementia-friendly walk at Wakehurst
On last Tuesday of every month, 11am - 12pm
Guided walks for people or carers living with Dementia. In partnership with Alzheimer’s Society, Wakehurst invites people living with Dementia on an accessible guided walk to explore the gardens through sight, smell and touch. Led by our expert volunteers, you will learn about the wonderful plants, people and places that make up Wakehurst.
Walks last one hour and are open to those with Dementia symptoms plus their families, friends, and carers.
When: Last Tuesday of every month, 11 am – 12pm Where: Tours start by the Plant Centre, outside the front of the Visitor Centre main entrance. A Wakehurst staff member will meet you there.
