Spring Concert by Burgess Hill Choral Society
23 April
A chance to hear requiems written by two very different composers: Mozart, a master of 18th century music in the “classical” style, and Karl Jenkins, a 21st century composer influenced by jazz and by non-European music.
Burgess Hill Choral Society will be accompanied by the Sussex Mozart Players, conducted by Mike Wood BEM, our charismatic Musical Director. The concert features four soloists from the Royal Academy of Music.
Tickets £14 (under-18s free) on the door, or from Burgess Hill Help Point OR from Jane Leng (Jane.Leng1@outlook.com or 0752 249 3966) OR https://www.burgesshillchoral.org/concerts OR from choir members.
Refreshments will be available during the interval. The concert venue is a short taxi trip or 20 minute walk from Burgess Hill main line railway station (or 10 minutes walk from Wivelsfield Station). Car parking is available on streets near the venue. The venue has disabled access.
