Burgess Hill Town & History Trails
Burgess Hill Town Council is delighted to be a recipient of Tesco’s Link to Bags of Help initiative now called Tesco Community Grants , winning a grant which has allowed us to produce two publications of trails around Burgess Hill.
The first leaflet details the Burgess Hill History Trail, giving walkers / cyclists the option of a 1 mile or 2 mile journey around Burgess Hill with descriptions of local history and landmarks to look out for. The map itself is a work of art with local history from locations across Burgess Hill and tips on where to spot particular breeds of local wildlife.
The second booklet gives information on 9 walks in Burgess Hill following twitten paths which link up across the town and out into the surrounding countryside. The walk lengths vary allowing you to choose the route which best suits you. Some routes can be cycled too. Discover old and new favourite locations in Burgess Hill’s varied landscape and look out for amazing wildlife.
Both publications are available free of charge from the Help Point at 96 Church Walk and 12 dispensers dotted around Burgess Hill. Alternatively you could click on the picture links below to view a copy online or to download for your phone or to print.
We hope you enjoy exploring Burgess Hill!
