Be sure to stop by the food stalls for a taste of mulled wine, hot chocolate, and other festive treats! Additionally the Help Point shop will be open with free face painting for the little ones, why not take the opportunity to pick up a loyalty card and get it stamped for any purchases you make. Be sure to return the filled card by 20th December to be in for a chance to win a hamper full of local gifts!!!
Ice Rink- Martlets Marquee
Get your skates on for the festive season as an ice rink is here in Burgess Hill! A favourite among families, friends, and couples, this is a great way to get into the holiday spirit while gliding along the ice. The synthetic ice rink will open on selected dates from 23 November until 8 December 2024 for one-hour sessions that will need to be booked in advance. Ice skates for all sizes will be provided. The perfect activity to get the whole family in a festive mood!
Snow Queen Performance
Quantum Theatre are back in Burgess Hill with a performance of the Snow Queen a great start to the festive season! Be sure to get your tickets from the help point as you will not want to miss this show! A captivating mix of fantasy, friendship and love triumphing over all.
Ticket prices are £5 per adult and £1 for children aged 3 and up. The ticket price will include a drink and tickets are available at the Help Point.
Elf on the Shelf Christmas Trail
The Elf has been to visit 10 businesses across the town in Burgess Hill. He has had a lot of fun but has now gone back to the North Pole to help with all the Christmas wrapping for all the good children in the town. Can you work out where he visited when he came to Burgess Hill?
Pop into the Help Point to pick up a fun “ guess the pictures” sheet. Bring it back to the Help Point and receive a small sweet treat!
More Radio Toy Appeal
Give back this Christmas by donating to the More Radio Toy Appeal. More Radio are looking for donations of toys and games for children and teenagers across the county, so we really can make it a happy Christmas for everyone living in Sussex this year. They work with a huge number of charities and organisations across East & West Sussex such as food banks, domestic abuse refuges and children’s hospices to ensure donations reach the neediest children. They will be providing toys and gifts for children of all ages and abilities from 0-18 so generally, anything goes! Gifts can be donated at the Burgess Hill Town Council Help Point and various other location in town.
Scout Christmas Post
The popular annual fundraising Scouts Christmas Post service has returned! For a donation of 70p per card, the Scouts will deliver your cards to any RH15 postcodes, with all funds raised to the 7th and 8th Burgess Hill Scouts. A post box will be in the Town Council Help Point and various other locations, the last collection will be midday Weds 18th December.
