The Town Council and Mid Sussex District Council have worked on a full programme of activities, details can be viewed here and here.
Bookings for all activities open on Monday 7 October from 9am.
Halloween Trail
The Halloween trail returns from Monday 28th-Friday 1st November!
Collect your trail maps from the Help Point, Kids Stuff, or you can print them using the link below. Follow the clues to find the animals in the local shops (they’ll be visible in the windows) and then return the completed map to the Help Point to collect a prize!
Every completed form also counts as an entry towards the prize draw, where you could be in with the chance of winning a craft kit!
Please note there is only one prize per child, whilst stocks last, and prizes are only available during the Help Points regular opening hours. (Mon, Weds, Thurs: 9am – 5pm. Tues: 10am – 5pm. Fri: 9am – 4:30pm.)

Science and Craft Sessions
On Monday 28th October at the Kiln, we will be running science and craft sessions. These sessions are aimed at children aged 5-12, with separate SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) sessions running too. Spaces must be booked in advance from 7 October, with families asked to book either a science or craft session, not both.

Young Carers Fun Day
The next Young Carers Fun Day will be Tuesday 29 October, 10am-230pm at Fairfield Community Centre. Lunch will be provided by the Mustard Seed Cafe. If you would like to register your young carers attendance, please complete google form by 9am on Friday 25 October.
There is also an annual permission form to complete if you haven’t done so already, please click on this link – this form only needs completing once until 31st July 2025.

Family Fun Sessions for families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
The Family Fun Sessions return on Wednesday 30 October, with information services available to support families and plenty of activities to keep children busy!
The sessions will run at 10-11.30am and 12.30-2pm, at The King’s Church. They are free to attend but spaces must be booked in advance. The sessions are aimed at ages 3-18, with priority given to those living in Burgess Hill and the surrounding villages.

Please note under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent or carer at all times. The Halloween Trail will be extended to 9am Monday 4th November, you can deliver the completed trail maps through our letter box over the weekend (next to brown door on the right of the building)
